Covid-19: There are currently no legal requirements for masks to be worn as currently set by government guidance, and Verve Clinic has currently relaxed rules on mask-wearing. This may change based on the advice received on Public Health England’s policies. We are closely monitoring the developments with COVID-19 procedures. Our Vitamin Therapists/Aesthetics Practitioners on duty may continue to wear masks in the clinic. Please do not attend your appointment if you have tested positive for COVID-19. Wait to be symptom-free and test negative before attending another appointment. Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell or showing some of the symptoms of COVID-19. This include high temperature, fever or shivering, coughing, loss of sense of taste or smell and shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, headaches, feeling sick, sickness or diarrhoea, feeling sick or being sick or, if you have a cold or any other flu like symptoms. In our clinical setting, we continue to thoroughly wipe down the areas in which we work including but not limited to, chairs, treatment bed and handles in between appointments. Our staff will not be working if unwell or have COVID-19 symptoms and if they have tested positive for COVID-19.
When to consider wearing a face covering or a face covering: Wearing a face covering or face mask can reduce the number of particles containing viruses that are released from the mouth and nose of someone who is infected with COVID-19 and other respiratory infections. Face coverings can also protect the person wearing the face covering from becoming infected by some viruses. When to wear a face covering: When you have come into close contact with someone at higher risk of becoming seriously unwell from COVID-19 or other respiratory infections. When COVID-19 rates are high, you tend to be in close contact with other people, such as in crowded and enclosed spaces. When there are a lot of respiratory viruses circulating, such as in winter, you will be in close contact with other people in crowded and enclosed spaces.
